My plan is to create a sculpture out of gumballs. Gumball gum is really the perfect material - flexible, moldable, archival (just look under any desk for verification), cheap, tasty, and fun. The sculpture I would create would evolve over time as I chew and sculpt, but would no doubt be a squishy, gummy, sticky sort of creature, in line with my other work www.squishymatter.com. $11 would be enough to finance 44 pieces of 25-cent gum, or 110 pieces of 10-cent gum (some comparison shopping will be necessary to find the best size/price), and I do belive you would be quite amazed with the outcome. |
